We've ended our basic calls product. Service for our current basic call users ends June 22, 2020.

1. My iPhone won't allow me to give any apps camera, microphone, or library access. I've gone to their individual settings for the apps and there's no options. If I go to Camera in privacy, I don't see the options. Furthermore, I notice all of my contacts are gone. None have any names nor can I give them any.
2. I clicked no, because I didn't want it to use the internal mic, I wanted it to use a USB input. Now, it won't let me get rid of the denial. I've quit QT, quit & reopened it twice and it still won't let me choose ANY input source. It still says it doesn't have access to the microphone. Is this a new Mojave 10.14.2 bug or what?

Android Chrome

1. On your Android device, open the Chrome app .
2. To the right of the address bar, tap More (triple dots) > Settings.
3. Tap Site Settings.
4. Tap Microphone or Camera.
5. Tap to turn the microphone or camera on or off.
6. Look for Daily.co under the Blocked list. If you see it BLOCKED, tap Daily.co > Access your camera > Allow.
7. Unblock BOTH camera and mic!

iOS Safari — standard Daily.co calls

Typically, Safari prompts for cam/mic access for each call. This is a privacy setting imposed by Apple. Follow the steps below or contact us for help.

Refresh the call

• Refresh the Safari tab
• You should be alerted for Microphone & Camera Access
• Tap 'Allow'

If that doesn't work, see the steps below

Check camera access is enabled on iOS

• Open the Settings app
• Tap on Safari > Camera
• Scroll down to Camera & Microphone
• Confirm that 'Ask' or 'Allow' is checked
• Retry the 'Refresh the call' steps, above.

iOS Safari — Intercom video calls

If you are having trouble with Intercom, follow the steps below:

• Open the Settings app
• Tap on Safari > Camera
• Scroll down to Camera & Microphone
• Confirm that 'Ask' or 'Allow' is checked
• Retry the 'Refresh the call' steps, above.

Computer users

Are you on a computer? Go to this page to unblock your computer camera or microphone.

Clear the microphones

1. Remove any screen protectors, films, or cases from your iPhone.
2. Clear any debris from the openings of your iPhone.

If people can't hear you on phone or FaceTime calls

1. Open the Voice Memos app.
2. Tap the Record button , speak at the bottom of your phone, then stop the recording.
3. When you play back the memo, you should hear your voice clearly.
4. If you don't hear your voice clearly, contact Apple Support.

If people can't hear you when you're using speakerphone

1. Open the Camera app.
2. Record a video while speaking at the top of your iPhone.
3. Tap the camera chooser to switch to the other camera. Then record another video while speaking at the top of your iPhone.
4. When you play back the videos, you should hear your voice clearly.
5. If you don't hear your voice clearly, contact Apple Support.

2. Make sure that the app is enabled.
